The Fool
Paul counted all things as loss that he might know Christ, starting over from ground 0.
God chose foolish things to shame the wise, the lowly things to shake up the high, those considered last to come before the first.
The cross is foolishness to the world, which chases after fame and fortune; it is a stumbling block to religious arrogance. The way of the cross is the way of humility: righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
We are fools for Christ, starting a new journey as we take up our cross daily, dying to selfish ambition and vain conceit.
God makes all things new.
All who are in Christ are new creations: the old has gone and the new has come.
Put off the old and put on the new, living by what is unseen rather than what is seen. Live by faith and not by sight alone.
