Eight of Coins
Hammering away, this craftsman shows hard work and diligence.
The town is in the background as he works away from the noise and crowds at the marketplace. As the Hermit card shows a retreat to find spiritual truth or knowledge from books, here we see a retreat for more earthly work, a practical craft done so well, however, that it may have a taste of heaven.
Here is focus on details and artistry, reaching a breakthrough in a project or a development of a higher skill level.
Remember to consecrate all hard work to the LORD, for apart from Him we can do nothing. Unless the LORD builds the house, we labor in vain. In vin we go out early and in vain we stay up late. Our discipline will always require the favor and grace of the LORD.
Whatever you do, work heartily as for the LORD and not for men.
