The Star
Naked and unashamed, in the childlike innocence of paradise, a feminine figure presents an outpouring over water and earth, over inward emotion and hope as well as outward blessing and bounty.
As the star of wonder guided the wise men of the East to the greatest Hope, so this star represents light and hope in the night.
Our spiritual and physical lives alike need to watered with hope and guidance, the wonder of youth rising to greet the providence of God.
In this card we signs of spring in the growing green and the singing bird.
In the darkness a great light has shined, and we, too, can shine like lights in the night and pour like water in a dark, dry, and weary land.
